 REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

 

The position is responsible for meeting or exceeding annual sales targets for Jewell products in the assigned region through market development and growth of channel and customer relationships.

 

Essential Functions include having the responsibility of ensuring that competent service and support is readily available for any Jewell customer within an assigned region. Annually develop and execute a sales plan for the assigned region in support of the zone business plan and the company's strategic plan.

 

Sales plan to include means of measuring success. Manage accounts in accordance with the Jewell's sales policy. Work closely with fellow zone manager in developing customer and account strategies and tactics. Recommend performance measures and sales opportunities to Director of Sales and Marketing. Extensively travel (50% or more) to customer locations , trade shows or events in assigned region. Conduct Business at all times in accordance with Jewell's Core Values. Responsible for prompt and regular attendance as scheduled. A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Minimum of five years experience in sales and marketing management, preferably within the manufacturing field. Experience with two-tier distribution systems and knowledge of international commerce is desired.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

Demonstrated ability in product presentation and technical setting.

Excellent skills in interpersonal relationships, communication and teamwork.

Must be computer literate. Must be competent using Microsoft Office products. Ability to create and use Power Point presentations is preferred.

Must possess strong written and oral communication skills.

Must be able to work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.

Ability to effectively problem-solve.

Proven customer service skills at an outstanding level in a professional environment such as sales.

Ability to facilitate activities necessary to a project's completion.
